It's a girl!

We had our ultrasound today and found out we are having a little girl. Twelve hours later, I am finally excited about it! I even went on my first little girl shopping trip and I must say, it was a successful one. Now I just have to decorate our little girl's room- which I guess won't be so bad after all :)

Picture time

Ryan was such a good boy the whole time we were at the photographer. He was giggling like crazy. All of the pictures turned out so nice, it was hard to pick some to buy!

I love this picture of Ryan and Michaela together. He absolutely adores her!

Ryan with a cell phone

Well, I didn't get a very good video of it, but Ryan's new favorite thing is to answer the phone, cell phone, etc. He says, "hello?" which usually comes out more like ' lo?" but it's still very cute. Every time the phone rings he crawls over to it and starts talking. He wouldn't do it for me while I had the camera on him, of course, but you get the idea. He really prefers his Buzz Lightyear cell phone because it makes noises back to him when he talks!

Ryan really likes to clap lately. Whenever you tell him good job and act excited, he just starts clapping for himself.


He gets a little bit camera shy. He was throwing the ball back and forth with Scott and every time he threw it, he would start clapping for himself. But watch how unsure he is when I start taping him.

Ryan is almost 11 months old!

I just thought this was a cute face
He likes to give kisses...but I think he might actually be licking Scott in this picture.
He thought Veda's dog food bowl was a fun seat.
Then he started laughing when it got stuck on him. He was crawling around with a bowl on his bum.
He woke up with a fever of 103 and still...look at that smile!

Pajama Pics

I laughed when I realized how many pictures I have of Ryan in his pajamas....and with food all over his face. Here's a nice sequence to demonstrate what I mean. You can see his two little teeth in this first one. I just love this smile.

Cole was looking everywhere for 'baby Ryan' but couldn't find him. He found him crawling and rolling around in Cole's tunnel. So then they started going through together which was very cute.

Grandpa gave Ryan his first Oreo...and he loved it.
