Madden

Scott is preparing Ryan at an early age to be a football player so we tried him out on a game of Madden. He thought about it for a minute, and we thought for a moment that he was going to be a natural.
But then he realized how good it tasted and all hope was lost.

Surprise....pictures of Ryan

Everyone keeps commenting on his long eyelashes...I don't know where they came from, but I'm jealous! Ryan is obsessed with his jumper. He has been kicking and pumping his legs since before birth so this toy was a natural for him. He will jump in it for a very long time. Notice the concentration...he sticks his tongue out and curls one side up. It's something new but I find it totally adorable. Showing off his jumping skills some more.

Ryan's New Game

Ryan is really good at scooting....backwards. He keeps getting stuck in places. Here he is getting stuck under the couch and then finally realizing it.

What a little sweetheart!

And again...

You'd think he would learn his lesson, but here he is again stuck under another couch! At least this time he was entertained because he kept pulling books off of the bookshelf.
He looked all through my Achievement Night materials and got an early start on the For the Strength of the Youth pamphlet

Happy baby!

I feel so spoiled...Ryan is such a happy baby. This is the cute little smile I see all the time. Even when he wakes up in the morning or from naps, he sits there and talks to the little animals on his bumper until I come and get him. Life doesn't get much better than this!

Michaela at Chesley Lake

Scott and I were sad we couldn't go to Chesley Lake this year, but glad that Michaela was able to go with her grandparents. It's her favorite vacation and from these pictures you can see why! Michaela is so fun. She is 100% girl....until she goes to Chesley. Then it is dirt, frogs, toads and turtles for a straight week. Here are some pictures to prove it! Showing off her itty bitty fish she caught. She has caught some pretty big ones in the past! She wakes up at 5am to go fishing with grandpa. She's dedicated.
Here are Michaela and her friend Peighton fishing off of the dock in front of the cabin.
Peighton and Michaela showing off their frog. Unfortunately, this frog wasn't strong enough to survive the 'spa day' the girls so kindly treated it to and it died shortly thereafter. Michaela can waterski!

She didn't even have help in the water this year! Way to go! I still need help in the water...

Dave and Heather's wedding

Here are Scott and Ryan. They don't always dress to match but it was cute. An almost family picture...but we were missing Michaela.
